Rochelle completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree from the University of Canterbury, NZ in 1998.  Since that time she has worked as a design engineer and project manager in a variety of industries including commercial construction, residential property development, aviation, and professional sports and in many countries and cultures around the world, including New Zealand, Australia, UK, USA, Switzerland and Dubai.  During the course of her career Rochelle has developed a passion for sustainability and has undertaken continued learning in this area becoming an accredited professional in both LEED, BREEAM, Green Star, Green Star NZ and Homestar. 

Since returning back to NZ in 2009 Rochelle has worked closely with the NZGBC becoming a Green Star Assessor as well as a Homestar Auditor. Rochelle has been involved in the further development of both the Green Star and Homestar rating tools for the NZGBC and as such is a leading expert on their implementation.
